Certified Florida Teacher in: Earth and Space Science (6-12) & Drama (k-12) Teaching Experience- Teach for America Core 2012 Member. I am currently a 7th Grade Science teacher at Matthew Gilbert Middle School in Jacksonville Florida. I have experience teaching high school biology in Chicago IL. I also served my College internships teaching Middle School Drama, High school Drama, and 4th Grade ESOL. My College transcript includes: Earth Science, Oceanography, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, Geometry, History, English, and many Theater as well as Education Courses. I love working with children of all age groups and I love teaching. I find new ways to help my students understand the information they are learning. I believe in challenging my students' minds while at the same time creating meaningful experience and understanding of concepts. I believe every student has not only the right to learn but also the ability to learn. The key is simply finding that ability and how to use it. I strive to teach my students how THEY best learn rather than pushing upon them how I learn. By unlocking my students' potential I believe they have the ability to become anyone they want to be.
