I have with equal effectiveness addressed issues of those confronting failure and those wishing to be coached to superior academic attainment. I recently earned an honors degree in mathematics, Phi Betta Kappa, from the University of Rochester. There, I gained over 4 years of experience tutoring students of varied ability levels, learning styles, and academic backgrounds. As a teaching assistant multiple times for upper level college math courses, I enhanced the success of mathematics majors. And, I have worked with college as well as high school students individually and in small groups in many settings. With a deep, holistic understanding of a range of mathematical material, I clearly explain abstract concepts in a simple and understandable way.
